New Year

Happy New Year! or so I wanted to say, but since half of January is already gone, I'm not sure if it is still appropriate to wish Happy New Year. It has been more than half a year since I updated something on the blog, a blog that I am struggling to keep. I question myself, if I am even trying to keep this up. Nevertheless I do not plan to give up. A New Year is here and it is only appropriate to have some resolutions for the New Year and mine are as follows:

1. Draw more and improve at a faster rate.

2. For the love of all things good, write more. Finish the short stories that I have not touched in ages, update the blog more often and just simply write more.

3. Continue studying Japanese, I hope that I can take the JLPT N2 exam this year, if not at least N3.

4. Regulate my gaming hours and play less. Although I have not been playing much lately but when I do I do so for days and weeks.

5. Stop procrastinating and do more work.

With that out of the way, allow me to wish a (late)Happy New Year to whoever reads this and good luck with keeping your New Year's Resolutions.

Reflections : Guild Wars 2

It has been a few months since I decided that I will be writing reviews on games and animation, but some things have gotten in my way since then. So now with some spare time in my hand I'm ready to give my first short review. And since this is my first ever review of something, I hope the readers will go easy on me and point out mistakes and ways to improve.

A few weeks ago, I had the time and opportunity to participate in the last beta weekend of Guild Wars 2 and I had a great time playing it. So I'll be doing a review based on my first hand experience in Guild Wars 2, a highly anticipated MMORPG being in development for years. And what a better time to review it since it launches in less than 24 hours to those who had pre-purchased it. Being an avid MMORPG fan since I first saw Everquest many years ago, I've been on a constant lookout for an MMORPG which will give me a sense of belonging. And so far I've tried many MMORPG's including World of Warcraft and they've all failed to give me that feeling. Will Guild Wars 2 be what I am looking for? That, I do not know yet. But here are some of my thoughts on Guild Wars 2.

Coming Updates

Being new to blogging, I've been slacking a lot, spending what time I can spare thinking about what can I do to make things more interesting than actually doing something. And since we do not usually do anything worth sharing, I've been neglecting this blog for far too long and I believe that it is time I finally try doing something with it.

It was recently it came to my realization that despite how much I love anime and games, I've never considered writing about them. Thus I've decided to create a section called 'Reflections' where I and maybe a few other friends(if I can persuade them to) will give reviews on games, anime as well as other interesting things that we so happen to come across. For anime I will not be doing an episodic post on the series that I am currently watching like most other anime blogs do, but an overall summary of it once I have finished watching the series. As for games I will be reviewing whatever games I manage to get my hands on. So be sure to drop by once in a while and stay tuned for more to come soon.

We'll be going to Comic Fiesta 2011!

Birth of a new circle

Hello to everyone,

We are a new doujin circle that started out with a group of friends that want to complete projects together.

We are still very inexperienced but we will do our best to deliver new experiences for people.

Currently, we do not have much. But in the future we will introduce more content and merchandises for people, so be sure to keep checking for updates. :D
